2020

Rio Grande Village (RGV) Wetlands

Experts and volunteers  restored over 55 acres of wetlands and revamped the RGV visitor center.

Fossil Discovery Center

This incredible outdoor exhibit showcases Big Bend's 120 million years of paleontological history.

Dark Skies

Gold Tier Designation

License plate sales directly funded compliant lighting in the park, leading to Dark Skies designation in 2012.

Repairs to

Homer Wilson

Ranch

Preservation architects and archaeologists worked together on repairs to these iconic stone structures.

Boquillas Crossing Station

This project funded full-time staff and three new wayside exhibits at the Boquillas Port of Entry.
