OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
Memorials and Honoraria
Big Bend Conservancy offers a meaningful way to honor or celebrate someone special through dedicated picnic tables and benches placed throughout Big Bend National Park. Each can feature a plaque reading “In honor/memory of ______,” creating a lasting connection between your tribute and the beauty of the park.
Memorial/honorarium table and bench contributions to Big Bend Conservancy are unrestricted gifts intended to support BBC’s mission to preserve, enrich, and conserve the unique resources of Big Bend National Park and the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River through philanthropic efforts and in partnership with the National Park Service.
Visitors to Big Bend often stop at these benches and tables to rest, take in the landscape, and connect with the place. Each placement becomes part of the park experience, offering others the chance to appreciate Big Bend from the same perspective as the person honored or celebrated there.
