About

In 2008, Big Bend National Park was one of the largest parks in the National Park System without an orientation film, a top-requested amenity from visitors. Spanning more than 800,000 remote acres with only a handful of visitor centers, the park had few ways to introduce families to its incredible landscapes or share important safety information. The Visitor Film fills that gap, offering a stunning overview of the park and key insights from park staff.

A gift to the nation from the people of Texas, Big Bend deserves exceptional visitor experiences. This award-winning film serves as a gateway for learning and a powerful reminder of the importance of protecting our public lands. You can view this film in Panther Junction Visitor Center at Big Bend National Park.

Big Bend Conservancy is the official 501(c)(3) philanthropic partner of Big Bend National Park. We work to preserve, enrich, and conserve the unique resources of Big Bend National Park and the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River.
